Elena Tonra (Daughter) anuncia su primer álbum en solitario

La labor de Elena Tonra en terreno musical no sólo iba a acabar ciñéndose a la actividad creativa de Daughter. Hace apenas unos minutos la talentosa cantante británica ha anunciado su primera incursión en solitario. Enmarcada bajo el paraguas artístico de “Ex:Re“, la prometedora obra debut homónima de la londinense verá la luz el 30 de noviembre de 2018. O lo que es lo mismo: este mismísimo viernes (inicialmente el LP se estrenará en formato digital, aunque está previsto que salga a la venta en formato físico el viernes 8 de febrero de 2019).

Grabado entre los 4AD Studios y los Rak Studios a lo largo de estos últimos meses por Elan y Fabian Prynn, “Ex:Re” nace a partir de la ruptura sentimental sufrida tiempo atrás por Tonra. Alcohol, noches de insomnio y una encarnizada lucha interna llevaron a la joven artista a engendrar diez canciones diferentes, todas ellas volcadas conceptualmente en la aflicción y el desamor.

El tentempié perfecto de “Ex:Re” se nos sirve en bandeja de plata con ‘Romance‘, sinuoso primer adelanto del LP en el que Elena Tonra combina dream pop y humeante R&B en una preciosa joya cercana a los Daughter de “Not To Disappear“. Dirigido por Antonia Luxem, su brillante videoclip promocional consigue resultar tan efectista como el corte que promociona. Visualícenlo bajo estas líneas.
