Llegó el gran día para todos aquellos que profesamos cierto grado de cariño hacia Florence Welch y su música. Se acabaron los rumores, y las filtraciones realizadas por habituales colaboradores. Florence And The Machine han agarrado definitivamente el timón de su campaña promocional para estrenar una nueva canción 100% original titulada ‘Sky Full Of Song‘. La misma que se anunció sibilinamente en su momento y que será editada físicamente con motivo del Record Store Day (21 de abril).
Alineándose melódicamente en la senda forjada bajo “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful”, la formación londinense coquetea de nuevo con aquel dorado pop barroco tan propio de las composiciones de Welch. Aunque en esta ocasión el tono melódico destilado por Florence And The Machine es rítmicamente crepuscular, alejando de la ecuación magnéticas guitarras (‘What Kind Of Man‘) o bases más propias de una pista de baile (‘You’ve Got The Love’). Apostamos un brazo a que esta pieza sonará en el setlist programado en julio en el Bilbao BBK Live 2018.
