King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard están en todas: no solo se dedican a editar álbumes con material original, sino que también entregan obras de carácter puramente «meta». Alimentando aún más su hambre voraz en materia discográfica, el grupo australiano ha anunciado «Butterfly 3001», nuevo álbum vertebrado por remezclas de canciones incluidas originalmente en «Butterfly 3000».Yu Su, Deaton Chris, DJ Shadow, Donato Dozzy, Flaming Lips, DāM-FunK y más colaboran en un trabajo del que ya hemos podido escuchar remixes de ‘Neu Butterfly 3000’ o ‘Shanghai’.
Con fecha de publicación prevista para el 21 de enero, «Butterfly 3001» aterrizará como colofón tras un año encumbrado por el lanzamiento de «L.W» y «Butterfly 3000». King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard estarán presentando todo este nuevo material en el Primavera Sound 2022, y también en el Canela Party 2022.
